OMAR H GARCIA

Colombian artist

Omar has an intense love for art which gives him a professional touch with sensitive colors.

He is inspired by expresionism tecniques and styles,which has led him to develop his own style of painting with attention on colors, shapes, and composition.

He began painting at an early age and studied under a wide variety of Colombian painters. Some of his work has been influenced by Picasso and Alejandro Obregon.

In 1986 Omar's first exhibition was in Manizales, Colombia. Also, he has participated with various artists on different occasions in others events.

In 1998 he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, due to circunstances in his native country that interrupted his dreams.He has continued to work on his paintings and participates in many events.

He is a member of the Atlanta artists Center and the Roswell Fine Arts Alliance
